Goshen Ignite operates remotely only.
What are your office hours?
Our office hours are Monday – Friday, 9 am – 7 pm. Saturday, we see clients by appointment only, and we are closed on Sunday.
How long is a typical session?
Sessions are 50 minutes.
What do I do to get started/make an appointment?
You can call Goshen’s direct line, (240) 548-0728, email Goshen at contact@goshenignite.com, or select ‘Make a Referral’ to complete the short form, and someone will call you within 24 hrs.
Do you accept insurance?
Goshen does not accept insurance.
What is a free initial phone consultation?
It is a 15-minute call with an intake specialist who will note your reason for seeking therapy with us and let you and Goshen know if we are a good fit for one another.
Who is your perfect client?
Our perfect client is anyone tired, fed up, or close to giving up on their present circumstance (individually, in their relationship, or with their family dynamics) and looking to work toward change, healing, and overall wellness.
What age range do you work with?
We work with Children (7-12 years old), Teens (13-17 years old), and Adults (18-65 years old).
Do you work with men? Women? Couples? Adolescents?
We work primarily with couples, families, and adult individuals.
Do you work with people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions?
Absolutely! Our therapists are from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities, supporting our work with diverse clients.
What modalities do you use?
Depending on your diagnosis or whether you are an individual, couple, or family, our therapists use the following modalities: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Family Systems, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Focused, Person-Centered, Structural Family Therapy, Psychodynamic, Art Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Feminist Therapy.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is about getting to know you as an individual, couple, or family. Your therapist will ask about what brings you in, what you hope to work on, and any questions you may have. There’s no pressure to share everything immediately because we go at your pace.
How long will I be in therapy?
There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline for therapy. Some clients come for a few sessions during a tough season, while others stay longer to dive deeper into personal work. Whatever your path, we’ll support you every step of the way.
